Hi! My name is Ezgi Cengiz. I am an assistant professor in Agricultural and Resource Economics at North Carolina State University. My primary research fields are empirical industrial organization, applied microeconomics, applied econometrics, and health economics. I am particularly interested in quantifying the causal impacts of advertising and diet improvement policies in food and beverages industries. I hold a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a B.A. in Economics from Istanbul University.
I love cooking, eating, in-line skating, and kundalini yoga.
